Project cope business letter

Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301

Dear Business Owner,

I am a student at Birmingham Covington School, in Birmingham Michigan.  We are working on a project to help eradicate poverty in a village called Chilupula in Zambia, Africa. We would like to offer you a chance to join us on this exciting journey.

We are working with Professor George Sherman from the University of Florida with this venture called Project COPE. We are trying to buy a two wheel tractor for the village. The  oxen are dying from a disease called Hoof and Mouth disease in the village of Chilupula's and now they must do the harvest by hand. By harvesting by hand the harvest is small but with a  the two wheel tractor it doubles their harvest.

They could get much more work done and make more money with the two wheel tractor.  With any extra money, we will buy water pumps to pull up water from wells and other water sources.

We want to know if you would like to become a sponsor for this project. If you become a sponsor, we will advertise your company in our flyers, brochures, wiki pages, Facebook page, twitter school accounts and posters.

If you don’t want to be a sponsor, you could still do something to help us for the project. You could participate in  our Electronic Recycle Program. What this means is that we will take your old or unused electronics, so you wouldn’t have to go through the long wait and trouble of recycling your own old electronics, and all the while, you will helping Project COPE, and the Zambians.  We could take any old gift cards and make jewelry from them. Plus it is all tax free!

If you want more information contact our teacher Pauline Roberts at pr05@birmingham.k12.mi.us or check our wiki joberts13

.
Sincerely,
Kyle
